The stay here was great, the room had air-conditioning, the location was fantastic with both a big supermarket and a supermarket nearby.

Great location, 10 min walking distance to Sagrada Familia and easy access by subway, 2 different stations in 10 minutes. There is free water in the mini bar once a day. Free internet is also ok, but was very slow.

The walls are really thin, you can hear everyone from everywhere.

A wide range of options for breakfast, fabulous slices of fresh bread, cheese and meats. Huge room with pleasant views over th park.

The beds were great, and the room had a mini fridge bar, air conditioner, and a personal safe. The location was perfect for visiting a monumental church nearby.

A terrible stench in the room and especially in the bathroom, had a similar situation in the next room from our friends

The location of this place is excellent, being right by the famous cathedral "Sagrada Familia" and having a metro station within a 5-minute walk uphill which is very convenient.

Rather quiete place. Near city centre. Good neighborhood. Close to subway. Good personal.

The service here is excellent, and the twin room with air conditioning has a bathtub and nice touches like balloons; breakfast is varied and delicious, especially the bread, cheese, and meats.

The hotel is 10 mins from the Sagrada Familia temple. Close to two tube stations. Very modern with good facilities. Staff are very friendly.

Had a really good stay during a business trip, this place totally met my needs. the location was great, especially for exploring Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau. 🏥

We paid 78 euro per day for 3 nights in November 2011, breakfast included. The price was not low but it was one of the lowest I could find the same period in Barcelona. Breakfast was good and had many different things to try. Room was adequate in terms of space and hotel was conviniently located near AlfonsX metro station (just 5 min away and the metro needed no more than 12-15min to get you to the centre) and 15min walk to Sagrada Familia. Staff was helpul but could not speak english easily. This was not a problem though. Hotel also seemed very clean. In general terms, I feel satisfied from our staying in Bel Art.

The building had some plumbing problems. We had to change room because the water did not flow away from the bath tub :) We were taking a shower and our feet were inside a tank of water which needed about 30minutes to flow away. There was also a strange smell coming from the bathroom's siphons but not all the time. Also the air in the room was very dry due to the central ventilation (old type) and we had to open the window a little during the night to sleep properly. Even though the hotel had this minor problems I think I would stay again if a had the chance. I consider it an average/good value for money considering the alternatives in Barcelona.
